Preston Michael Baker

Preston Michael Baker, age 69, passed away Monday morning, June 14, 2021 at his home in Harmontown, MS. 

The family will hold a memorial service at the Harmontown Baptist Church with the date and time to be announced at a later time. 

Preston was born on February 2, 1952 to the late Preston and Norma Jean Baker in Arkansas. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Germany. After serving in the Army, he worked at the Fitzgerald Casino as a floor supervisor and also worked at Winchester. Preston was an avid fisherman and enjoyed fishing with his friends. He was also computer savvy, and enjoyed learning new things with his computer. 

The family he leaves behind includes his precious wife, Peggy Jo Spencer Baker of Harmontown, MS; one daughter, Wendy Singleton (Michael Wayne) of Waveland, MS; 5 grandchildren, Cole Singleton, Matthew Singleton, Alexandria Reitmeyer, Conner Singleton, and Zachary Reitmeyer. 

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, David Baker; and one sister, Valerie Baker.
