Rex McMinn

William Rex McMinn, age 85, passed away Sunday morning, August 25, 2019, at his home in Gulfport, MS.

There will be a visitation on Saturday, August 31, 2019 from 2:00-3:00 P.M. at Wells Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville, MS.

Rex was born August 28, 1933 to the late Clifford Tidwell Mougey and William Floyd McMinn in Batesville, MS. He graduated college from the University of Mississippi and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. In his lifetime he was a business owner and was of the Methodist faith.

He is survived by his grandson, Michael Brandon McMinn of Gulfport, MS, and his sister, Kay Long of Como, MS.
