Rick Stubblefield

Rick Stubblefield, age 66, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2024 at his home near Courtland, MS. 

A celebration of Rick's life will be held at Shiloh Methodist Church on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 11:00 am.

He was born on February 12, 1958 to the late Tom Stubblefield and Sharlon Martin Stubblefield in Canton, MS. Rick was a devoted employee for UPS, where drove a truck for many years and was lastly promoted to a management position. Beyond Rick's career, he was an avid turkey and deer hunter. He found great joy in listening for turkeys and being outdoors. Rick also had a special love for his grandchildren, cherishing the moments spent with them. 

The family he leaves behind includes his wife, Laura Stubblefield of Courtland, MS; two children, Ashley Boutwell of Purvis, MS, and Mason Stubblefield (Cassie) of Courtland, MS; one brother, Tim Stubblefield of Courtland, MS; and three grandchildren, Lara Leigh Boutwell, Buckston Stubblefield, and Kylie House. 

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Sandy Stubblefield.
