She entered this world on July 2, 1953 in Batesville, MS, born to the late Harry Young and the late Ruby Evelyn Self Johnson. Sadie will most be remembered for the excellent care that she provided to her family. After the birth of her first grandchild, she retired from working outside of the home to provide care for her granddaughters for the following 20 years. Most recently, she enjoyed spoiling her great-grandchildren. Sadie was beautiful, loving, and caring, and with that natural beauty, she would light up a room. She loved sacrificially. Sadie was raised Southern Baptist and continued her faith throughout her life. She enjoyed being outdoors while fishing and gardening; she also enjoyed sewing. Sadie had a special bond with her chorkie, Precious. She would want to be remembered most for her love of family and how she relentlessly took care of her whole family. Sadie would want everyone to have a relationship with Christ so they can be prepared for eternity.

She is survived by the love of her life for nearly 49 years, husband, Jimmy Glover of Batesville, MS; two daughters, Jennifer Swindoll (Barry) and Michelle Adams (Stevie) both of Batesville, MS;  two sisters, Ruby Lois Henson of Batesville, MS, Lisa Renee Tolbert of Courtland, MS; two brothers, William Earl Johnson of Sardis, MS, Bubba Johnson of Batesville, MS; six granddaughters, Kirstie Toner (Aden), Shelbie Moss (Ryan), Alyssa Smith (Carson), Anna Adams, Tiffany Swindoll, and Kayla Reynolds (Mike); eight great-grandchildren, Evan and Harrison Moss, Gabe and Annaleigh Toner, Sadie Beth Smith, Lakin Shaw, Ethan Bridges, and Zeke Reynolds.

Along with her parents, Sadie was preceded in death by three sisters, Janie Lucas Coleman, Mary Elizabeth Young Cotten and Barbara Young Byrd.

Memorials may be sent to the Hosanna Family Worship Center Building Fund, P.O. Box 305, Pope, MS 38658.
