Salvador Samuel Totaro passed away at 75 on Monday, February 14, 2022, surrounded by family.
Sal was born February 9, 1947, in New Orleans, LA to the late Salvador Samuel Totaro, Sr. and Dolores Moya Totaro. He proudly and honorably serviced his country in the U.S. Army and was of the Pentecostal faith. Sal worked for Dunlap and Kyle in Batesville, MS as a Senior Support IT Specialist. He enjoyed many things in life. He was a devoted espresso aficionado, enjoyed talking politics and dutifully followed the New Orleans Saints. Sal also enjoyed listening to Christian music and watching Joel Osteen. He had a keen knack for trading currency and anything technology. Sal especially loved spending time with his beloved family.
His memory will be cherished by his wife, Amy Dunlap Totaro of Hernando, MS; three sons, John Trevor Totaro, Samuel Henry Totaro, Benjamin A. Totaro all of Hernando, MS and his sister, Diane Totaro Hayes (Frank) of Metairie, LA, as well as many other nieces and nephews, too numerous to name.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 19, 2022, in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with interment in the Terza-Dunlap Cemetery near Batesville, MS. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 P.M. prior to the service.
