Sandra Lin Lewis, age 59, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2026 at the North MS Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, Mississippi. 

Sandra was born on November 24, 1966 to the late Mattie and Alfred Kennedy in Mississippi. She worked in the upholstery business throughout her lifetime.

Those she leaves behind includes her three children, Randall McCarty, Latasha McCarty, and Amanda Vargas all of Batesville, MS; her sister, Martha Chandler of Water Valley, MS; 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. 

Along with her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Lewis; and one brother, Douglas Kennedy.
