Olivia Lashae Ware, affectionately known as Shae, passed away on May 31, 2026, just shy of her 22nd birthday.

Funeral services for Shae will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 5, 2026 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.

Shae was born on June 1, 2004 in Oxford, Mississippi to Kimberly Chapman and Tony Ware. Her life was marked by her fun-loving spirit and deep love for her family and the outdoors.

Shae was a 2022 South Panola High School graduate. She was an outdoors kind of girl who enjoyed the little things in life. Shae loved tinkering with her trucks and going fishing. She also enjoyed riding four-wheelers, creating cherished memories with her friends and family.

The loving family Shae leaves behind include her mother, Kimberly Chapman of Water Valley, MS; her father, DeAdrien Chapman of Courtland, Mississippi; her siblings, Brianna Rudd of Courtland, Mississippi; Gaby Tiner of Southaven, Mississippi; Ragon Chapman of Courtland, Mississippi; Leamber Chapman of Southaven, Mississippi; Devonte Chapman of Water Valley, Mississippi; Jadarious Chapman of Oxford, Mississippi; and Kamyra Rudd of Como, Mississippi; her niece whom she adored, Paisley Grace Rudd; and her maternal grandmother, Patty Daugherty of Courtland, Mississippi.

Shae was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Bobby Joe Daugherty and maternal step-grandfather, Winford Appleton; her paternal grandparents, Ethel Ware and Harry James Ware; and her aunt Linda Turner Richmond.

Shae’s vibrant spirit and loving nature will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by her family and friends.
