Steven Lee Little, age 49, passed away Wednesday morning, March 4, 2026, at his home near Crowder, MS.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Crowder Baptist Church with the family receiving friends at 10:00 A.M. at the church. Following the service, the interment will be at Crowder Cemetery in Crowder, MS.
Steven was born on June 25, 1976, in Batesville, MS to Sarah Sprayberry Kennedy and David Earl Little. He lived a life filled with passion and personality, making indelible memories with all who were fortunate enough to know him.
A dedicated professional, Steven was a retired water tank welder, a career that showcased his strong work ethic and commitment to craftsmanship. Beyond his work, he had a deep appreciation for nature, frequently expressing his love for the outdoors. An avid bow hunter and fisherman, he found joy in preparing his land for hunting seasons, whether it was for deer or rabbits. Steven was known for his playful spirit, relishing in the art of joking and often finding ways to bring laughter to those around him.
At the heart of Steven's life was his family. He is survived by his loving daughter, Destiney Leeann Little of Batesville, MS; his devoted mother, Sarah Kennedy of Batesville, MS; and his brothers, David Glen Little of Missouri and Samuel David Earl Little of Batesville, MS. He also leaves behind five aunts: Brenda Adams (Phillip), Abby Sullivan (Myron), Charlotte Banks, Margie Taylor (Jeff), Emma McIntyre (Jimmy); three uncles: Richard Sprayberry, Mickey Neal, Timmy Neal; three nieces, Cheyenne Sims (Jeremiah), Samantha Little, Natalie Sweats; two nephews, Nathaniel Little, Braxton Little; and two great-nephews, Hunter Sims and Cooper Fuqua. A cherished best friend, Markie Williams, along with his brother from another mother, Bo Vance (Lady Bug), and a host of numerous cousins will also remember him fondly.
Steven was preceded in death by his father, David Earl Little; his grandparents, Samuel Earl Little (Maxine), Member Lee Sprayberry, Barbara Ann Neal, Lea Albert Neal; and four uncles, Johnny Glen Little, W.T. Neal, James Neal, and Harold Neal.
