Terry Sullivan

It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Terry Lee Sullivan, who departed this world peacefully at his home on September 22, 2026. Born on August 21, 1953, in Batesville, Mississippi, Terry's journey was one of love, dedication, and service.

There will be a Memorial Service held for Terry at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2026 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville with visitation beginning at 10:00 prior to the service. Family, friends, and all whose lives he touched are invited to join us in honoring a man who meant so much to so many. 

Terry was the cherished son of the late Lee William Sullivan and Lottie Sullivan. He is now reunited with them and his beloved siblings, Kevin Sullivan and Brenda Sullivan Heathcock, in eternal peace. A devoted husband, Terry shared 47 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Connie. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and meaningful moments. Terry was a proud father to Lori, who, alongside her husband Kevin Gibbs, blessed him with four wonderful grandchildren: Alec, Aidan, Nash, and Charlotte Gibbs. His daughter, Amy Sullivan, further enriched his life with two grandsons, Ashton and Lawson Pittman. Terry's legacy of kindness, strength, and love will forever live on in his six treasured grandchildren.

Terry served his country with honor and distinction in the United States Navy, embodying the values of courage and dedication that would define his life. His commitment to service and his unwavering spirit were a source of inspiration to all who knew him. He is survived by his brother, Donnie Sullivan, and sister-in-law Teresa, along with a host of nieces and nephews who will continue to carry the Sullivan spirit forward.

Though Terry's physical presence has left us, his spirit, warmth, and laughter will forever remain in our hearts. As we remember him, let us carry forward his love for family, his dedication to service, and his unwavering kindness.
