Thomas H. Martindale, age 88, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021 at his home in Pope, MS.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 24, 2021, in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the interment to follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Pope, MS. The family will be receiving friends at 12:00 P.M. prior to the service.

Thomas was born May 15, 1933 to the late Tom and Leira Hentz Martindale in Batesville, MS. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Thomas was a retired millwright with Local Union 1544 and a member of Pope Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Helen Louise Gurley Martindale.

He is survived by one son, Randall Martindale of Courtland; two grandchildren, Chris and Cliff Martindale; and two great grandchildren, Hunter and Preston Martindale.
