Tilford Morgan

Tilford Morgan,age 68, passed away in the early morning hours of Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at his home near Batesville, MS.

Tilford, known as "T" or "T.D." to his friends and family, was born on March 1, 1957 to the late Douglas Morgan and Cora Faye Williams in Alabama. He honorably served our country in the United States Army, serving as a military police officer. 

In his spare time, T.D. would often be found doing mechanical work or spending time outdoors, whether he was hunting or fishing. 

The family he leaves behind includes his son, Michael Morgan of Batesville, MS; his two brothers, Terry Allen Jeffers and Tommy Eugene Jeffers of Millington, TN; his two sisters, Tina Faye Ragsdale and Traci Kimberly Jeffers both of Olive Branch, MS. 

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Cathy Lynn Morgan.
