Bro. Tony Earl Dunson, age 60, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at the Baptist DeSoto Hospital in Southaven, Mississippi.

Funeral services for Tony will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, September 7, 2026 at the Faith Chapel Holiness Church in Senatobia, Mississippi with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service. The interment will follow the service there at the church cemetery.

Tony was born on September 8, 1965 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Frank D. Dunson and Beatrice “Bea” Chambers Dunson.

For most of his life, Tony dedicated himself to his work at a fish farm, where he was known as a hard worker. He also faithfully served as the pastor of Faith Chapel Holiness Church in Senatobia, Mississippi. He loved his church family deeply, and when he was not at the fish farm, he gave his time and heart to the church and to the ministry he cherished.

Tony will be remembered as a man who was always there for his family. He never missed any of his children's sporting events or a church musical with his daughter, and those loving acts of presence and support will remain treasured in the hearts of his children. He was always joking around, bringing laughter to those around him, yet even in his serious ways, he was telling people about Jesus. His life reflected both warmth and faith, and he leaves behind a lasting example of devotion to family, work, and the Lord.

Those Tony leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Sue Dunson of Sarah, MS; his children, Janet Dunson of Alabama, Jerry Atkinson of Coldwater, MS, Joseph Dunson of Sarah, MS, Brayden Dunson of Sarah, MS, and Anna Dunson of Sarah, MS; and two grandchildren.

He is also survived by his siblings, Katherine, Mitchell, Sheila, Teresa, Cynthia, Patricia, and Angie; and his furry companion, “Bruce”.
