Walter Lee Robison, age 70, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital of North MS in Oxford, MS.

The service to celebrate Lee's life will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 30, 2025, in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until the time of the service.

Lee was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, that was born September 9, 1955 in Batesville, MS to the late John Whitson Robison, Jr. and Betty Lee Hall Robison. Lee’s roots were deeply planted in the community he loved, where he later raised his own family and pursued a lasting legacy as a dedicated farmer.

His commitment to education was evident when he graduated from Mississippi State University with two bachelor's degrees, one in Agricultural Economics and another in Animal Science. His passion for agriculture shaped his life and career, allowing him to contribute significantly to the farming community.

He was not only committed to his profession but also to the joys of life. In his younger years, Lee found great pleasure in water skiing and cherished the connection he had with nature through deer hunting. He was an avid supporter of the St. Louis Cardinals Baseball and Mississippi State Athletics except football. Lee passionately enjoyed the excitement these sports brought into his life.

Walter is survived by his devoted wife, Wanda Carol Haynes Robison of Batesville, MS, and his two sons: Walt Robison of Memphis, TN and Dr. Walker Robison (Dr. Shelby Claire) of Oxford, MS. He also leaves behind his sister, Cindy Moreland (Chip) of Memphis, TN, and his brother, John Whitson Robison, III (Beth) of Memphis, TN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Whitson Robison, Jr. and Betty Lee Hall Robison, who laid the foundation of love and values that Lee carried throughout his life.
