Wayne S. Stephens, age 79, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019 in Clarksdale, MS.
The family will be having a private memorial service for Mr. Wayne.
Wayne was born September 14, 1940 to the late Genova Atwell and Lewis Ruffin Stephens in Harmontown, MS. Wayne a retired factory worker and a member of Westside Church of Christ.
Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Johnnie Kay Stephens of Como, MS; three children, Gena Kay Dulin of Sardis, MS, Wayne E. Stephens, Jr. of Oakland, MS, and Tersa Powell of Como, MS; one sister, Selma Stephens of Crenshaw, MS, and one brother, Thomas M. Stephens of Como, MS; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by one son, Barry Wayne Stephens, and two sisters, Lena Baker and Inez Lipsy.
