Yvonne “Von” DeLoach Keen, age 63, passed away Monday, October 27, 2025 at her home in Pope, MS surrounded by those she loved.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, MS on Thursday, October 30, 2025 for visitation beginning at 12 Noon.
A celebration of Von’s life will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at Magnolia Cemetery in Batesville, MS.
Von was born on September 3, 1962 in Greenville, MS to the late Gary Wilson DeLoach and Naomi Christene “Tina” DeLoach. During her lifetime, she was employed by KFC, First Family Loan Company, and Batesville Financial. Beyond Von’s career, her joy in life was being a dedicated wife and a mother. She enjoyed being with family and friends engaging in activities such as going to garage sales, cookouts, and watching her favorite TV shows. She loved working in her flower garden and gifting plants to others. Von expressed her creativity by making beautiful rings from vintage jewelry to give to others.
She was welcomed into the heavenly Kingdom by her grandparents, Woodrow Wilson and Ida Pearl DeLoach and her parents, Gary and Tina DeLoach.
The family she leaves behind to cherish her memory include her husband, Lacey Wade Keen of Pope, MS; her two daughters, Brooke Keen of Starkville, MS, and Elizabeth Nicole Marchant (Josh) of Thomasville, GA; her brother, Waymon DeLoach (Tina) of Sardis, MS; two sisters, Pam DeLoach Stevens (Chuck) of Sardis, MS, and Gwyn Ford (Brian) of Jonesboro, AR; and one grandchild, Mya Kailyn Gonzalez of Thomasville, GA.
She also leaves behind many cherished family members including: Becky Russell, Shana Ballard, Krystal GoForth, Andrea Ferguson, Lauren Ferguson, Hannah DeLoach Griffin (Gehrig), Garret DeLoach, Shauna Ferguson, Hailey Whitney, Kristen Shinault, Shay Shinault, Claire Shinault, Gabriel Ferguson, Khloe McCullar, Gradyn McCullar, and Hayes Lane Hudson.
The family of Yvonne would like to thank Adoration Hospice of Grenada, MS and Becky Maxwell for their special care and dedication to meeting her every need.
Von’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her, as they remember her for her contagious laugh, spicy personality, strength, and unwavering love for her family and her Lord Jesus Christ. May she rest and rejoice in Heaven. She will be deeply missed by all.
